Let’s Tesselate

This piece started with a damaged canvas that I repaired with upcycled fiber tissue paper, and went on to utilize bubble warp, plastic strawberry baskets and a found roof shingle. As this piece was coming together in such sharp lines, I loved the idea of some organic shapes to break it up... or rather bring it all together. The rigidity and the flow of said organic shape feels very much like the dance of love, of growth in our relationships.
